VIHAN the Resource Center of Vibhavari has been working as a resource center for Watershed management Sanitation, WASH in Schools , Agriculture & Livelihood programs since last fifteen years.
The root of holistic development lies in the development of Human resource available. For sustainable development we need to educate, inform and make human resources capable. With this aim, VIHAN was established and has been successful in reaching the people at the fringe ends of society and finding potential in them.
In order to achieve Vibhavari’s objective of building competency in young leaders, VIHAN came into existence. VIHAN stands for Village Institute for Human Advancement, the training wing of Vibhavari. Established in a village, GOLA GUTHAN, near Punasa Dam in Dewas district, this centre is located in midst of a serene and calm natural surroundings largely formed by dense Teak (sagon) plantation and green fields. The campus has several demonstration units based on different models.
VIHAN, to its credit, has several training programs conducted at its premises as well as in different districts of M P. For conducting training outside the premise, a mobile training unit with state-of-art training amenities has been set up.
Training Hall: A well-equipped training hall - Prafull Sabhagar – with 1200 Sq. Ft. of space with comfortable sitting arrangements for almost 100 participants.
Training Aids: Various training aids like LCD, OHP, Public Address System, Computer Systems, TV Unit, DVD Player, etc., are available for training purposes.
Library: About 5000 books for reference and general reading are systematically arranged in this library. Water conservation, Sanitation, Literature, Yogic Sciences, Spirituality are some of the topics for which books along with comics and story books for children are available in this library. The collection includes publications of Vibhavari too.
Boarding & Lodging: Comfortable rooms and dormitory to accommodate almost 50 participants is part of the campus with all the basic amenities. Campus mess serves hygienically cooked vegetarian food to all the training participants. Open space in the campus provides ample outdoor space for training purposes.
